Description
About the farm:
The farm has been in the family for over 100 years and 4 generations Having undergone various transitions through dairy and arable farming, in 2017 the family decided to return the land to pasture to work with nature and raise native breeds of cattle and sheep with minimum inputs.
The Llanwenog sheep are out in our fields all year round except for a few weeks over the lambing period. Lambing takes place in April and the lambs are left with their mothers for 3-4 months to benefit from the goodness of the ewe milk. The lambs are kept on our herb-rich grass from the moment they go out which really adds to the delicate flavour of the Llanwenog breed. We think the taste is exceptional!
Our lamb boxes come butchered and packed ready to go into your freezer.
The cuts are as follows:
- 2 Legs

About Primal Meats
We aim to offer you nutrient dense meat from Farms who rear their animals to very high standards of welfare and manage their land in harmony with nature.
Our meats are perfect for those following diets based on ancestral wisdom as they are as close as possible to meats from the wild.
The beef, lamb, mutton and hogget are 100% grass fed and carry the “Pasture for life” logo, providing reassurance of nutrient quality and traceability amongst a world of misleading “grass fed meat” products. We offer certified organic or free-range chicken and our pork is organic raised (but not certified) and free to roam. Our wild game comes from estates across Scotland, the North of England and the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
