Pork belly is a ‘value’ cut that has become a savoured delicacy, ideal for slow roasting. This is a flavoursome cut which is also high in fat, if the rind is ‘open roasted’ it creates a superb crackling.
The forage based diet of our free range pigs gives the pork a delicious flavour and texture. This means the meat is more likely to contain higher levels of minerals and vitamins, anti-inflammatory fats and anti-oxidants.

Our pork belly come from free-range pork that is reared in a system that has health and welfare at its heart. These pigs are not certified organic but have the space to roam and root.
The pigs are reared on a high proportion of pasture approved foods including fresh pasture, local vegetables and lucerne silage. The pigs will receive some grains and a mix of foods to help them achieve essential nutrients such as copper sulphate. They are also reared without the use of routine antibiotics.
