Description
Our free-range chicken legs are tasty and moist making them ideal for quick cooking or oven baking. The legs are perfect for marinading and taste great on a BBQ. Our free-range chicken legs offer plenty of dark meat, legs are known to be naturally darker in colour. The legs are darker because they are constantly used and exercised by our Free Ranging Chickens. The more our chickens exercise, the darker the colour in the leg and more intense flavour. If you’re looking for a rich and meaty flavour try the whole leg.
All our Free Range and Organic Chickens are ‘grown slowly’, often twice as long as commercial chicken to allow them to mature at a more natural, healthy rate. We strongly believe in high welfare farming methods and our Chickens are free to roam all day. Our free-range and organic chickens also have ample space in their sheds so they can spread their wings indoors and outdoors.

About Primal Meats
We aim to offer you nutrient dense meat from Farms who rear their animals to very high standards of welfare and manage their land in harmony with nature.
Our meats are perfect for those following diets based on ancestral wisdom as they are as close as possible to meats from the wild.
The beef, lamb, mutton and hogget are 100% grass fed and carry the “Pasture for life” logo, providing reassurance of nutrient quality and traceability amongst a world of misleading “grass fed meat” products. We offer certified organic or free-range chicken and our pork is free range, pasture reared (not just outdoor bred) and sourced from the highest quality farms we can find. Our wild game comes from estates across Scotland, the North of England and the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
