Cow Share from Woodside Farm – Delivery Thursday 7th November

Woodside Farm is a family farm situated on the edge of the Wyre Forest with the Worcestershire/Shropshire boarder running through its fields of permanent pasture. The first Dexter Cattle arrived at Woodside Farm in 2015 and started Penny’s Springtree Herd of Pedigree Dexters.  Certified Organic by the Soil Association and 100% grass-fed by Pasture for Life, the cattle graze the wild flower meadows and higher level stewardship grazing for most of the year, only coming in during the wettest months to eat hay made on the farm.

Dexter cattle are the smallest of our native breeds and the beef is renowned for its flavour, being intensely rich and juicy.  We have limited availability so we would suggest ordering early!

• 1 x pack of Rump steaks (approx. 500g)
• 1 x pack of Sirloin steaks (approx. 500g)
• 2 x 500g Braising steak,
• 4 x 500g Diced Stewing beef
• 4 x 500g Minced beef
• 1.5 – 2kg slow roasting joints (brisket, chuck roast, Jacobs ladder)
• 1.5 -2kg kg roasting joints (topside, silverside)
• some stock bones
